MST (Marine Specialised Technology) designs and manufactures a range of Rigid Inflatable and High Speed Workboats for military and professional use. MST craft are at work in every ocean in both professional and military capacities in roles as varied as law enforcement, naval, rescue, patrol, special operations, fisheries and conservation. The company offer flexible modular solutions tailored to meet customer’s specific requirements from a range of well proven platforms. MST work closely with clients during the development process to understand their specific needs before any manufacturing commences. This tailored approach means that every boat from MST is ideally suited to the role it needs to fill, ensuring it delivers maximum performance, capability and effectiveness. MST concentrates on the design, development and final assembly of craft with key components manufactured by specialists in those areas. This model of specialists working together, overseen by Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, ensures that all components of each boat are manufactured to the highest level of quality.
The MST Fleet Management division excels in managing a number of Contractor Logistic Support (CLS) and Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) contracts throughout the world. Packages provide a complete range of logistics support including personnel, materials and asset management. MST provides both preventative and corrective maintenance support packages that are customised to reflect individual client’s requirements. Support and maintenance packages are available to non-MST craft. The company are equipped to service anything from individual craft to full Fleet Management offering full or partial maintenance contracts for up to 10 years.
Andrew Phillips - Technical Director, MST - Marine Specialised Technology
Andrew studied mechanical and production engineering, with his working career spanning various engineering disciplines, including aircraft, automotive and domestic appliances. The move into the marine industry came 17 years ago where he worked as design office manager at Delta RIBS.
In 2002 he was part of the MST business start-up in the role of Technical Director. Since 2002 MST has progressed to a position of world leaders in the design, manufacture and production of commercial and military RHIBs and Workboats. Andrew now heads up a multi-disciplined team of fifteen engineers and naval architects, working towards the design and production of innovative, high performing quality craft.
